You have probably heard of Dave’s Gourmet Insanity Sauce! Dave shares his entrepreneur story, including starting a restaurant and developing the initial hot sauce product. Dave believes you need grit to succeed in business, and keeping things relatively simple to successfully operate and grow a small business.
Dave Hirschkop is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and creative force behind Dave’s Gourmet. Dave’s Gourmet is a specialty foods company that makes a wide range of products including Gourmet Pasta Sauce, Hot Sauce, Condiments and Spices. You have probably heard of Dave’s Gourmet Insanity Sauce!
His first business venture was a restaurant, which is where the idea for his hot sauces was born. Dave’s Gourmet initially specialize in hot sauces, and then expanded into a range of products including pasta sauces, condiments and spices. His products have earned more than seventeen prestigious Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation awards, including “best in category” four times. Twice, his pasta sauces were honored as “best in the industry.”
Dave has also authored a cookbook and made numerous appearances on television, including the Food Network.
Dave lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
