His first business venture was a restaurant, which is where the idea for his hot sauces was born. Dave’s Gourmet initially specialize in hot sauces, and then expanded into a range of products including pasta sauces, condiments and spices. His products have earned more than seventeen prestigious Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation awards, including “best in category” four times. Twice, his pasta sauces were honored as “best in the industry.”
Dave has also authored a cookbook and made numerous appearances on television, including the Food Network.
Dave lives in the San Francisco Bay area.
