Scrappy Launch with Russ Perry, an entrepreneur and author. He shares his life journey, the early business failures, and using a scrappy approach to launching and growing his latest successful business.

Russ is an entrepreneur, the Founder of Design Pickle and author of “The Sober Entrepreneur“. He spent eight years building businesses that yielded zero in profit, and now in less than three years he has grown Design Pickle to $500,000 in monthly recurring revenue and 135 team members.

Russ’s recent success almost never happened though because he had been hiding something: he was an alcoholic, and it almost ruined his marriage, business, and life. On October 22, 2013, Russ stopped drinking. Quitting alcohol was the catalyst Russ needed to come back from the edge of disaster, both personally and professionally. Since quitting alcohol, Russ has grown Design Pickle from $0 to $6 million in annual revenue (while traveling the world), cultivated a rock solid marriage and partnership with his wife, and completed a Tough Mudder competition of 50+ miles.

Russ lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his family.
